Samridhii Shukla opens up on shooting with a sore throat for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's recent promo

Samridhii Shukla, known for her role in 'Saavi Ki Savaari' on Colors TV, has been winning hearts as Abhira in Star Plus' 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.' As the fourth-generation lead, she has carved a special place in viewers' hearts.

Recently, the channel released a promo for the upcoming storyline, featuring Samridhii as Abhira, who decides to pursue her career against Dadi sa's wishes by eloping from the Poddar house. While the promo hints at the upcoming twists, it also reveals a change in Samridhii's voice, indicating a sore throat.

In response to queries about her voice, Samridhii shared insights with India Forums, stating, "As you may have noticed in the new promo, Abhira, or rather, my voice, sounds a bit off. I truly regret that I don't sound the same, but there are certain aspects beyond our control. Taking rest, a crucial remedy, becomes challenging in the TV industry due to its demanding schedules, with telecasts now spanning seven days a week and shifts extending to 12-13 hours. This lack of rest, combined with the prevalent throat issues in Mumbai, likely due to deteriorating air quality, has taken a toll. Us Mumbaikars are known for their workaholic spirit, often take pride in it. I've advised my friends to take precautions, and while work never stops, Abhira will continue entertaining the audience. I kindly ask for your understanding as I strive to regain my original voice. Thank you for your support guys."
