Salman Khan chops off lip-lock scene from Hero

Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's debut 'Hero' is all set to release in September. While the star cast has already started its promotional campaign in full force, producer Salman Khan is hooked up with the editing of the movie.

As reported earlier, Salman Khan had given his inputs for the editing and has cut short the movie by 30 minutes. Now we hear that the star has also chopped off the kissing scenes of the movie as he believes that there is absolutely no need of it.

According to reports in a leading daily, there was a lip-lock scene between Sooraj and Athiya in a song. But, when Salman saw it he immediately asked for it to be removed. Director Nikhil Advani was quoted saying, "It was just a peck... A brush of the lips...But even before I could see it, Salman did, and insisted on editing it out. His argument was that in all these years, he had never kissed on screen, so there was no reason for his 'children' to lock lips." [sic]

As known to all, till date Salman Khan has never kissed on-screen and hence wants his beginners to follow the same path.
