Saif: It was a Risk for Kareena to get Married in 2012; Reveals she Balanced it Bravely

The style sensation and super mom, Kareena Kapoor Khan, is a boss lady in every sense. She has never failed to impress her fans and some of her most iconic performances, Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Geet from Jab We Met, to name a few continue to be one of the crowd favorites even today.

Besides her professional excellence, Bebo has also balanced her personal life in a splendid manner. She tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan in 2012, during the peak of her career and has a cute little baby boy, Taimur, who is the apple of everyone’s eye today. In fact, she has to face mean comments and has been slammed for being a working mother, but nothing stops her!

Praising her for her commendable work, Kareena’s darling husband Saif Ali Khan reflected on Bebo’s 20 glorious years in the industry and stated that when Kareena decided to marry him back in 2012, it was considered a risk. However, she maintained a brave balance between personal and professional life as she looked up to women like Sharmila Tagore and Kajol for inspiration. The actor also praised his wife as a mother, wife and actress and mentioned that she has contributed to gender equality too. 

“It’s been a brave balance between personal and professional life. It seems normal now, but it wasn’t when she was doing it. Getting married (in 2012) was an apparent risk back then, but the balance has come from the kind of people she has looked up to professionally and personally, like Kajol and my mother (Sharmila Tagore). She is evolving with time and is a great mother, wife and a very reliable star. It’s a huge contribution towards women and gender equality” Saif told Mumbai Mirror.

Besides, the lovely couple is currently vacationing in Switzerland amidst the snow-capped mountains. Saif and Bebo were joined by Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan, and Natasha Dalal too, and the picture of them together had gone viral on the Internet. 

On the work front, Kareena delivered a comedy entertainer titled Good Newwz, last week, which is doing well on the box office and Saif is gearing up for the release of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior on January 10, 2020.
