Saif Ali Khan- Prabhas' Adipurush under "bad omen"? Close Source reveals the foul play involved in the major fire incident

Saif Ali Khan and Prabhas starrer Adipurush is touted to be Om Raut’s ambitious project. The film is a modern-day adaptation of the Ramayan and since it's announcement it has been falling in one or the other controversy.

Yesterday, February 02, 2021, was the first day of the shoot and after the Mahurat and the pooja, the film's team was all set to kick-start the shooting but it all ended in vain as a massive fire broke out on the sets that was erected at the  Retro grounds at Goregaon West, Mumbai.

 The incident shocked everyone leaving them to think that despite taking extreme precautions what went wrong.

Now, as per reports in SpotboyE, there is a foul play involved in the massive fire that broke out suddenly on the sets on the first day of the shoot.

A core member of the film’s unit has been quoted by the entertainment portal saying,

It was strange, bizarre almost. Why would a fire break out on the first day itself? It almost seems like an ill omen.

Reportedly, the destructive fire broke out at around 4 pm and caused extensive damage to the sets worth several crores. The film's lead actors, Saif Ali Khan and Prabhas who play the two main roles were not present on the set when the fire broke out.

Further, the source revealed to the entertainment portal that all the necessary precautions were taken against any untoward eventuality and hence the major question arises that why and how the fire?

Elaborating a bit more the source shared that it must be noted that Adipurush has been in the vortex of a  raging controversy ever since Saif Ali Khan who plays  Ravan in this revisionist adaptation of the Ramayan mentioned in an interview that the Ravan was being humanized in  Adipurush.

Sources say the fire seen in the light of the controversy that preceded cannot be taken to be innocent.

In the meanwhile, the film’s official spokesperson had this to say, 

We had an unfortunate incident today on the sets of Adipurush. Thankfully, no one has been hurt and everyone is safe and sound. We thank Mumbai fire brigade and Mumbai police for their support.

While its still unclear as to what led to the sudden massive fire on the first day of the shoot itself, we hope and pray that things get normal for the team of Adipurush and they resume shooting again.
