Saif Ali Khan Case: Attacker reveals his motive for breaking into Saif’s home; had THESE plans to execute

Saif Ali Khan was finally discharged from the hospital on Tuesday evening, just days after being attacked and stabbed multiple times at his home in Bandra. In the meantime, the attacker, Mohammad Shehzad, also known as Vijay Das (30), a Bangladeshi national, explained his reasons for breaking into Saif Ali Khan's residence.

He stated that he attempted to rob the Bollywood actor due to his financial difficulties. Reports indicate that he needed money for his mother’s medical treatment and had lost his housekeeping job in December of the previous year, leaving him in a desperate financial situation.

According to the Times of India, Mohammad Shehzad targeted Saif Ali Khan’s home out of extreme poverty, hoping to steal from someone wealthy. It was also reported that he intended to flee to Bangladesh after carrying out the crime.

The officer explained that the immediate trigger for the crime was Shehzad losing his housekeeping job at a Thane restaurant on December 15, when his contract with the manpower agency ended, leaving him nearly broke. Previously, he had worked at a Worli restaurant, earning ₹13,000 a month, from which he sent ₹12,000 back to Bangladesh for his mother’s medical treatment.

During questioning, Shehzad admitted to stabbing Saif Ali Khan multiple times in the back to escape his grip. After the attack, he fled from Khan's flat in Bandra and hid in the building's garden for about two hours.

The actor faced an attack by an intruder in his Bandra flat located on the 11th floor at approximately 2:30 am on Thursday. The incident took place when the intruder reportedly confronted the actor's maid at his home. As Saif attempted to step in and calm the situation, it escalated into a violent confrontation, leading to the actor receiving multiple stab wounds.
