Amid this, Kareena Kapoor Khan released an emotional statement following a shocking attack on her husband, Saif Ali Khan, at their home. Saif was stabbed six times by an intruder who demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. The frightening incident took place in their Mumbai residence, with the assailant also entering their youngest son Jeh’s room. Hours after Saif underwent surgery, Kareena requested privacy for their family as they navigate this traumatic experience.

On Kareena’s Instagram post, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh shared messages of love and support. Priyanka wrote, “Sending so much love," while Ranveer added, “Love and prayers," along with the evil eye, praying hands, and heart emojis. Both actors have a strong bond with Kareena, having worked together on numerous projects in the past.

About the attack

According to police sources, Sait Ali Khan was injured at home around 2:30 AM while Kareena Kapoor was with him. The family lives in the Satguru Sharan building in Bandra West, Mumbai, with their children, Taimur (8) and Jeh (4). The shocking incident has left fans and the film industry in disbelief. The family had just come back to India after a vacation abroad with their kids, making this event even more surprising.

Health Update

Doctor Nitin Dange from Lilavati Hospital spoke to the media. He is a famous neurosurgeon who performed surgery on Saif Ali Khan. He took out a knife that was stuck in the middle part of the spinal cord.

There was also a spinal fluid leak that needed to be fixed. The actor is doing well and is stable now. He also had a serious injury on his neck, which was treated by a plastic surgeon. Because Sait Ali Khan has some health issues, the surgeries were done under the watch of top cardiologist Dr. Srinivas Kudva.
