Saif Ali Khan & Jaideep Ahlawat Return to the Heist Game in Netflix’s Slick Thriller 'Jewel Thief - The Heist

The makers of Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins dropped the thrilling trailer on Monday, giving fans a glimpse of Saif Ali Khan in a stylish heist avatar once again. The 2-minute 13-second trailer brings back the vibe of Race, with a blend of action, deception, and sharp storytelling. Saif steps into the role of Rehan Roy, a smooth-talking and intelligent thief, hired by Jaideep Ahlawat’s character, mafia boss Rajan Aulakh. Their mission? A daring ?500 crore heist involving the rare and coveted African Red Sun jewel.

Produced by Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand under their banner Marflix Productions, the film marks the production house’s streaming debut in collaboration with Netflix. It promises viewers a rollercoaster of twists, betrayals, and high-speed chases.

Saif looks completely in his element as Rehan Roy — sharp, stylish and full of swagger. Jaideep Ahlawat, known for his intense screen presence, plays the calm yet menacing Rajan Aulakh. Along with them, Kunal Kapoor joins as Vikram Patel, a no-nonsense detective hell-bent on catching the thief red-handed. Nikita Dutta plays Farah, a woman who manages to steal something more personal — Rehan Roy’s heart.
