The buzz around Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins is picking up speed as fans gear up for this exciting OTT thriller. Featuring Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles, this Netflix original is all set to bring a dose of high-octane action, intense drama, and stylish heist elements. The latest update is that the much-awaited trailer will be launched on April 14, 2025.

The film was officially announced back in February 2025 and since then, the audience has been looking forward to what this action-packed thriller has to offer. According to a report by OTTplay, the makers have planned to drop the trailer on April 14, which will give fans a glimpse into the world of Jewel Thief.

Earlier, Netflix had shared the film’s release date along with a poster that grabbed everyone’s attention. The poster featured Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nikita Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor, all in intense avatars. The caption on the poster read, “The bigger the risk, the sweeter the steal. Aa raha hai the incredible – Jewel Thief.” The film is all set to release on April 25, 2025, exclusively on Netflix.

Back in February, a short teaser was unveiled during the “Next on Netflix” event. The teaser was just 1 minute and 7 seconds long but left a lasting impact. It featured Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat in several different disguises as they chased the legendary African Red Sun diamond. Nikita Dutta and Kunal Kapoor were also seen in stylish roles, and the teaser offered a perfect mix of action, thrill, and stunning international visuals.

Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins marks producer Siddharth Anand’s OTT debut and is jointly directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal. The official synopsis of the film reads: “A jewel thief is hired by a powerful crime lord to steal the world’s most elusive diamond - The African Red Sun. His perfectly planned heist then takes a wild turn. Chaos, twists, and unexpected alliances unfold in this high-stakes race making it a deadly game of deception and betrayal.”

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan is also preparing for his return in Race 4, where he will be seen sharing screen space with Sidharth Malhotra. Fans are now waiting not just for the Jewel Thief trailer but also for an official update on Race 4.
