Rohit Shetty wills to cast Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor & Govinda if he ever remakes 'Aankhen'

With his comedic escapade Cirkus, which stars Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez in significant parts, Rohit Shetty is ready to take the audience on a wild journey. While the movie is scheduled for release on December 23,  Rohit Shetty spoke candidly about the 1993 comedy caper Aankhen during a discussion on Hindi cinema's double role in his recent interview. Govinda, Kader Khan, and Chunky Pandey all played prominent roles in the David Dhawan-directed film.

Disclosing the possibility of a modern-day remake of the movie Rohit Shetty said to Pinkvilla, 

“Ranveer can play Govinda’s character, Arjun Kapoor could be Chunky Pandey and Paresh Bhai (Paresh Rawal) would be perfect for Kader Khan.”

“In-fact, the Kader Khan track could be done by Govinda, it would be iconic. Imagine, both Govinda and Ranveer in a double role, with Arjun Kapoor. Copy right hamare pass hai, koi jaake rights maat khareedna,” he added.

Ranveer was thrilled to see Shetty's ideal cast. He exclaimed that he recently received a message from Arjun. Additionally, he also said that they are brothers in real life, so this cast would be fantastic. Rohit continued by sharing some fascinating trivia about his comedy of errors, which debuts during the holiday weekend.

While we have already seen Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor's chemistry in the film 'Gunday', it would be exciting to watch them share the screen space once again and cast their spell on the audiences.
