Rohit Shetty hints at Ranveer Singh's inclusion in Golmaal 5 at Cirkus' trailer launch event
In today's Cirkus trailer launch event, director Rohit Shetty talked about his film Golmaal 5 and whether Ranveer Singh would be a part of the film.
After a long wait, the trailer of Rohit Shetty's much-awaited film 'Cirkus' is out. Cirkus is Rohit Shetty's adaption of Shakespeare's comedy 'The Comedy of Errors', also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Tiku Talsania, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, and Vrajesh Hirjee. Additionally, Deepika Padukone makes a noteworthy appearance in her husband's movie Cirkus. The story of the film is set in the 1960s, and Ranveer Singh plays two roles in the movie. Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series all contributed to its production. The historic comedy movie will debut in theatres throughout the world on December 23, 2022.
Rohit Shetty blew the beans about the fifth part of Golmaal earlier today at the trailer launch event for Cirkus and said that Ranveer would also be appearing in it. This will be the actor and director's fourth time working together. While Singh's third endeavour with Rohit Shetty is Cirkus. The two initially collaborated on the 2018 movie Simmba, which starred Sara Ali Khan. Additionally, they worked together in the Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif and featuring an extended appearance from Ranveer.
In the meantime, Ranveer's most recent acting appearance was in the film Jayeshbhai Jordaar, which also starred Ratna Pathak Shah, Boman Irani, and Shalini Pandey. The Band Baaja Baarat actor has a bunch of projects in the kitty, including the romantic comedy 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', directed by Karan Johar and starring Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. The movie is slated to premiere in theatres on April 28, 2023.
The actor will then appear in director Shankar's upcoming movie, which is an official remake of the hugely successful Tamil film Anniyan from 2005.
