Rhea Chakraborty yet to file an FIR against Rape and Murder Threats

At times social media can be very disturbing and it can unexpectedly take an ugly turn. Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has sent shockwaves across the nation and fans have been eager to see the late actor receive justice.

Rhea Chakraborty shared the screenshots of rape threats she received on social media post boyfriend Sushant’s death. She even sought Cyber Crime Cell’s help in the matter. However, to everyone’s surprise, a Pinkvilla report stated that Rhea hasn’t filed an official police complaint yet.

The 28-year-old actress tagged the Cyber Crime Cell asking for help to take necessary action. The report stated that the cops claimed she has shared screenshots but is yet to file an official complaint about the same. 

While many have already contemplated the whole outcome of the investigation, the blame game is in progress and netizens have already passed judgements through their social media handles. Users often succumb to hurling abuses and recently Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was on the receiving end and she revealed the screenshots of rape threats she recieved post Sushant’s death.

Sharing the screenshots of threat messages, Rhea wrote; “I was called a gold digger ..I kept quiet I was called a murderer ....I kept quiet I was slut shamed ....I kept quiet But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide @mannu_raaut ? Do you realize the seriousness of what you have said? These are crimes, and by law no one, I repeat NO ONE should be subjected to this kind of toxicity and harassment .I request @cyber_crime_helpline @cybercrimeindia to please take necessary action .ENOUGH IS ENOUGH..”
