Rhea Chakraborty returns to work after two years; posts a message

One can never forget how actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death caused the biggest turmoil and catapulted to unleash an array of controversies that became a national talking point for several months. And while cause of and manner of death was a mystery for one and all, the sheer media circus that surrounded the late actor's girlfriend and actor herself, Rhea Chakraborty - was one to witness.

Chakraborty went from being the prime suspect in the case to media trials and harassment apart from even serving custody. However it has now been over a year and a half since it happened and Chakraborty has finally moved on from it in a way and has resumed work thus being in her normal routine.

On Saturday, Chakraborty took to her Instagram handle to give a glimpse of her current state of mind while returning to work, and she seems super excited giving a wide smile to the camera. Sharing the video, she wrote, "Yesterday, I went to work after 2 years. A big thankyou to all the people who stood by me through my toughest times. No matter what , the sun always shines NEVER GIVE UP! (sic)."

For the unversed, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by NCB in September 2020. Later she spent a month in Mumbai's Byculla jail and was released on bail in October. Incidentally, her brother, Showik Chakraborty, was also arrested by NCB and he was released in December.

On her movies front, she was last seen in a small role in Chehre co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi.
