Revealed: Plot of Robot 2

As reported earlier, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing a villain in Robot 2. This is the first time that he will be seen in a Tamil film and he is very proud of it.

During a recent interview with the Khiladi for his upcoming movie 'Airlift', when asked him about Robot 2, here's what he shared with us, "I am very glad that I am the first (male) actor to go and do a Tamil film. I am very happy. And I am grateful to them to get me and put me there... Which other male actor has gone there?"

Adding to it he said, "You don't get it (the roles). Down south they take our heroines but...I am happy that I am doing it. I would love to break this myth and do a South Indian film. I have done a Marathi film, Punjabi film, I would love to do a Gujrati film, Bihari and Bengali film."

Further when quizzed him about the story of the movie he said, "I liked the story of Robot 2... Let me just give you one little sneak peak. It teaches you something. There is a message in Robot 2. I loved the script."

With this it can be surely said that, like his previous films: Baby, Special 26 and Holiday; that were socially driven even Robot 2 will have a strong message that the audiences will take back home.

As of now, the Khiladi is all set for the release of his upcoming movie 'Airlift' alongside Nimrat Kaur. The movie will hit the theaters on 22nd January, 2015.
