Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starts shooting for Simmba!

The duo will be sharing the screen space for the first time.

Ranveer Singh has been seen very excited from the time Rohit Shetty offered him this film. Simmba is about a cop-comedy film where the actor will be seen playing a cop. While the audience has been eagerly waiting for this film as this film has a massive combo of the director and the actor - Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh. While Ranveer has always been seen as a huge entertainer even when off screen Rohit Shetty is known to make masala entertainment films.

Well, deadly combo...indeed!

The film will also star Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan in the film. She will be seen opposite Ranveer. However, it may not mark as her first film as she has debut film is meant to be opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath.

Talking about Simmba, Ranveer and Sara are said to kick start the shoot in Hyderabad today. The duo is said to be shooting for two months long schedule for the film. Soon Sonu Sood will also be joining the team as he plays the antagonist in it. Apart from him, there have been rumours about Ajay Devgn too will be seen making a special appearance in the film. Well, an official announcement hasn't been made by the makers as yet but, it would be fun to see the trio on screen.

Moreover, the film is said to be bigger and better than Rohit's Singham, starring Ajay Devgn which has also been the director's highest grossing action comedy to date.
