"I am just counting the days till the marriage day" says Shikha Singh of 'Kumkum Bhagya'

She may be playing a negative role as Alia in the show, 'Kumkum Bhagya', but she has managed to garner a fan following where the actress is loved for playing a negative role.

She is none other than, Shikha Singh...! The actress is currently facing a jam-packed schedule where she is juggling between her shoots in 'Kumkum Bhagya' and 'BCL Season 2'.

But, there is one major thing which she is not only looking forward to but is also extremely excited about. It's her wedding day!!

Yes! A couple of months ago, we reported about the actress set to tie the knot soon with her beau, Karan Shah, where the dates she was looking at were somewhere in May.

And it's all Final now..!

We contacted Shikha, who confirmed saying, "Yes, the date is locked and its 1st May 2016. There are a lot of preparations to look forward to and I am literally counting days to D-day."

She added, "But, currently I am facing a tight schedule as the current track in the show revolves around my character. So, I can barely plan anything and cannot take an off all of a sudden."

On being asked about whether it's going to be a gala wedding she says, "No, it is going to be a close-knit wedding where only the family and close ones would be present followed by a reception for friends and others."
