Dupahiya Season 2 CONFIRMED Gajraj Rao & Sparsh Shrivastava Share Heartwarming Video | Watch

Dupahiya, the much-loved lighthearted series, is officially returning with a second season. The show, which started streaming on Amazon Prime Video on March 7, won audiences with its charming story and talented cast. Featuring Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Shivani Raghuvanshi, the series quickly became a fan favorite. Now, Prime Video India has confirmed that Season 2 is in the works.

To make the announcement, Prime Video shared a fun video on Instagram featuring the lead cast. In the clip, the group happily sings, “Aave laa Dupahiya," when Bhuvan Arora suddenly interrupts with a hilarious comment: “Kya aavela aavela, aa to gaya hai aur kitna aayega?" Sparsh Shrivastava, in his signature style, responds with a witty remark: “Fir se aa raha hai bey, aur tum na ee hamri khushiyon pe zyada paani mat fera karo, panauti ho tum." Gajraj Rao then adds his humor, saying, “Dupahiya nahin tum dono ka jo zabaan hai na vo highway pe nikal raha hai, sambhalo, break lagao uspe…gaana gao…vaapas aavela hai Dupahiya." The video ends with the message: “Aavela Dupahiya Season 2 in development." The caption reads: “Koi daatega nahi na? Kyunki humne Dupahiya Season 2 mangwa liya hai."

The series is directed by Sonam Nair and created by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani under Bombay Film Cartel LLP. Writers Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg brought the fictional village of Dhadakpur to life with their engaging storytelling. The first season revolved around a motorbike theft that disturbed the peaceful village, leading to a series of funny and unexpected events.

Also starring Yashpal Sharma, the nine-episode series stood out for its simple yet entertaining narrative, lovable characters, and clever dialogues.
