Avika Gor on Dipika Kakar’s health: “She’s the right person to share updates”

Avika Gor and her fiancé Milind Chandwani are all set to appear on television together for the very first time in an upcoming reality show titled Pati Patni Aur Panga. The show promises to give audiences a glimpse into the real and unfiltered side of a couple’s relationship. Recently, a pre-launch event was held, where all participants and the show’s hosts gathered for media interactions.

During the event, Avika and Milind shared their excitement and curiosity about being a part of Pati Patni Aur Panga. In a chat with Telly Masala, Avika opened up about her experience, and during the conversation, she was asked about her former co-star Dipika Kakar, who acted alongside her in the popular TV serial Sasural Simar Ka.

When asked whether Dipika knew about Avika’s participation in the reality show, Avika confirmed that she did. The actress also addressed Dipika’s recent health condition. As many fans already know, Dipika Kakar recently underwent surgery for Stage 2 cancer and is currently undergoing targeted therapy as part of her recovery process.

Speaking about Dipika’s health, Avika said, “I think they’re very open and regularly share updates on their vlogs. I also follow them just like any fan and keep watching their videos.” She added that they occasionally exchange texts or talk on the phone and stay in touch that way. However, when asked for more specific details about Dipika’s condition, Avika declined to comment further. She explained that Dipika herself should be the one to speak about her health.

“I’d prefer Dipika to give any health-related updates herself. We’ll continue seeing the updates through her vlogs,” Avika added, showing her respect for her friend’s privacy while expressing her support.

For those unfamiliar, Avika Gor and Dipika Kakar shared screen space in Sasural Simar Ka, where they played sisters — Dipika as the elder and Avika as the younger sibling.
