Pushpa 2 Box Office Day 1: Allu Arjun’s Film Earns THIS much in only few hours

Allu Arjun's latest movie, Pushpa 2: The Rise, has hit the screens, and the excitement for the film is spreading like wildfire! The film's release, three years after the first installment, has been met with great enthusiasm. With videos from theaters circulating widely on social media, everyone is eagerly awaiting the film's box office performance. Reports indicate that Pushpa 2 has had a fantastic start at the box office on its opening day.

As per the latest update from the box office reporting platform Sacnilk, by 8 AM, Pushpa 2 has raked in an impressive Rs 21.04 Cr. The movie is anticipated to continue its phenomenal run at the box office.

Sacnilk had earlier mentioned that Pushpa 2 had crossed Rs 30 crore in overseas pre-sales and domestic sales had surpassed Rs 70 crore before the film's premiere on Wednesday. With this achievement, Pushpa 2: The Rule has become the second Indian film this year to exceed the Rs 100 Cr mark in advance bookings, following Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD.

It has been reported that the Saudi Arabia censor board raised concerns about a scene in which Allu Arjun, playing the hero, is dressed as a goddess, along with the film's numerous references to Hindu deities. After discussions and the editing of 19 minutes of content, the film was granted approval for release.

“Saudi Arabia censor board trims Jathara episode and allows the release after multiple cuts with a final runtime of 3 hour 1 min," film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared on X.
