Producer Rajan Shahi Honoured By IFTPC For Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

After completion of 3000 episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Producer Rajan Shahi achieved another milestone. The talented producer and director, Shahi received an award by the  Indian films and TV council (IFTPC), an esteemed Producers’ Association, which is currently headed by renowned Producer and actor, J.D. Majethia.

The Producers’ Association honoured Shahi for the completion of 3000 episodes of Directors Kut Productions’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which has been airing on Star Plus since a decade. Appreciating Shahi, the association stated, “In fact, the latest quote for the formula of success of a feel-good daily soap is ‘Ask Rajan’."

Earlier, in an interview with India Forums, Shahi shared about his journey with Yeh Rishta and its success “We started shooting almost 11 years ago and the success mantra of the show is teamwork. Talking about teamwork, the entire unit including the workers and technicians, 95% of our team has been working with Yeh Rishta since day one of the shoot. 90% of our Creatives and Writers are the same people who have joined us 11 years ago. So, I think a good show is made by a good team, a healthy spirit and one should have the intention to work with determination,” he said.
