Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan removes Geetanjali’s engagement ring as he admires Abhira from afar

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira informs Vidya that she will soon schedule the date for her surgery. In response, Vidya calls out to Armaan, but he humbly tells her not to make him the centre of attention since Abhira had managed everything in his absence. Despite the conversation, Abhira keeps her distance from Armaan. Vidya requests Abhira to accompany Armaan to the hospital and questions how long she intends to maintain this silence. Armaan asks Vidya not to pressure Abhira, acknowledging that after being apart for seven years, reconnecting will take time. He decides to wait until she's ready to open up.

Meanwhile, Kaveri asks Abhira to check the saree she had sent for dry cleaning. Abhira raises a concern about why Kaveri is spending lavishly on sarees despite their current financial situation. Kaveri simply asks her to count the sarees. Armaan observes Abhira counting the sarees multiple times. Vidya later explains that after losing Pookie, Abhira has developed a habit of double and triple-checking everything due to a lack of self-confidence. She quietly tells Armaan that Abhira has been suffering in his absence. Hearing this leaves Armaan remorseful.

Manisha and Manoj are delighted to hear about Armaan's stay. Manisha expresses hope that Armaan and Abhira will reunite and bring harmony back to the family. Manoj, however, advises her to stay calm and let things unfold naturally.

Elsewhere, Armaan overhears Kaveri speaking with someone named Anshuman and becomes curious. He notices the warmth with which Kaveri speaks about him and learns that Anshuman has been more involved with the family than Armaan ever was during his seven-year absence.

Abhira and Armaan later visit the hospital for Vidya's medical appointment. Though they're together, Abhira continues to maintain her emotional distance. She watches from afar as Armaan watches Maira and Geetanjali's video message. During the consultation, the doctor schedules Vidya's surgery and refers to Abhira and Armaan as a married couple. Abhira immediately corrects the doctor, clarifying that Armaan is not her husband. When Armaan tries to initiate a conversation, she brushes him off and turns to speak with Anshuman. He overhears their conversation from a distance. Later, curious, Armaan asks her about Anshuman, but she avoids giving him any details and refuses to let him hurt her again.

Manoj runs into Armaan and encourages him to return to the firm. However, Armaan declines the offer and reveals his intention to reclaim the property currently under Krish's name. Manoj pledges his support.

Later that night, Abhira maintains her distant behaviour towards Armaan. Despite his attempts to speak to her, she avoids any interaction and heads towards the door. As she tries to step out, Armaan intervenes, reminding her that the rain could ruin the important documents. Realising the wind and rain outside are strong, she quickly rushes to shut the door. Armaan joins her and together they manage to close it after a brief struggle, their hands touch, and for a fleeting moment, their eyes meet. However, Abhira immediately withdraws and walks away.

While Armaan settles down to rest, Abhira resumes her work. Armaan tells her she can keep the light on, saying he doesn’t mind, but she chooses to turn it off and instead lights a candle. As she continues working, Armaan observes her quietly. He takes off his ring, which slips and falls somewhere unnoticed.

Noticing Abhira sweating, Armaan turns the fan toward her. She soon realises this and redirects the fan back to him. A playful back-and-forth begins between the two, with each adjusting the fan for the other, until it eventually topples over. Armaan picks it up and starts searching online for a way to fix it, only to see that Abhira is already repairing it herself. He offers to take over and tells her to continue working, but she puts on her earphones, fixes the fan and ignores his suggestion, going back to her work while directing the fan towards him. Armaan once again turns it back to her and admires her quietly. He mentally notes that this moment is something he wishes to hold on to forever, as he believes he’ll have to live with just these memories for the rest of his life.

The following day, Kaveri doesn't approve of Armaan and Abhira working together in the kitchen. When Abhira accidentally burns her hand, Armaan steps in to help prepare a meal. Both women are surprised to discover that Armaan knows how to cook. When Kaveri suggests ordering food, Vidya insists they eat the food prepared by Armaan. However, Kaveri refuses and asks Vidya to have it while she and Abhira will order food. Kaveri decides to order Chinese food.

Meanwhile, Krish starts feeling anxious, sensing that Armaan may try to reclaim his stake in the firm. He gets irritated with Tanya when she asks him to help choose his wedding outfit.

Later in the evening, Kaveri and Abhira share a light moment while enjoying Chinese food. During their conversation, Kaveri brings up Anshuman's name, which catches Armaan completely off-guard.
