Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan overhears Abhira and Anshuman’s conversation, questions her about him

In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan and Abhira come face-to-face after being apart for seven long years, unaware of each other's lives during that time. Abhira had held on to the hope that Armaan would return and they'd reunite with their daughter, little Pookie. But her hopes are crushed when she sees Armaan proposing to Geetanjali. Heartbroken, she hands him divorce papers, and though hurt, Armaan signs them—choosing his daughter's happiness over his own. Later, Armaan admits to Geetanjali that their marriage is only for Maira's sake, as he still can't move on from his past love. The current track takes a dramatic turn when Armaan rushes to Udaipur after hearing about Vidya's eye condition. Despite staying under the same roof, Abhira avoids him completely. Meanwhile, Armaan learns that Sanjay and Krish tricked Kaveri into signing over the Poddar house and firm. Furious, he slaps Krish and vows to bring Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira back to the Poddar house with full dignity.

In the upcoming episode, with Armaan by her side, Vidya finally agrees to undergo her eye surgery. Armaan and Abhira head to the hospital together to meet the doctor. During the consultation, Abhira inquires about the earliest possible date for the procedure, and the doctor suggests that there's no point in delaying, it can be done the very next day. When Abhira asks about the recovery time, the doctor responds warmly, saying that with such a caring son and daughter-in-law, any patient would recover quickly. Abhira, taken aback, immediately clarifies that they are not husband and wife, which leaves Armaan stunned.

Later, Armaan happens to overhear Abhira speaking with Anshuman. Their friendly and cheerful tone catches his attention. Abhira expresses her gratitude to Anshuman and teases him, reminding him that he should get back to his work instead of worrying about her so much. She also tells him to return soon as the wedding date is approaching, which leaves Armaan confused and shocked. Since he doesn't know that Anshuman is Krish's fiancée's brother, Armaan seems to misinterpret their bond and possibly assumes that Abhira is talking about her own wedding.

As their conversation ends and Abhira tries to walk away, Armaan, unable to hold back, stops her and directly asks who Anshuman is, clearly disturbed by what he just heard.
