Pankhuri & Gautam open up not taking up offers and why

Actors Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy are currently in Lucknow for a wedding and they went on to also celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary there. Talking about celebrating there with ETimes TV, Rode said, "Since we didn't get a chance to celebrate our wedding anniversary then, we thought to celebrate it later. After Lucknow, we have been going from one place to another and trip hai ki khatam hi nahi ho raha. From Lucknow we went to Delhi and from there we went to Jaipur. And on Valentine's Day, we came back to Delhi wherein we celebrated the day together at the hotel only. And after a week of vacation, we are now back in Mumbai."

Talking about how their journey as a married couple has been, Awasthy said, "It has been a very smooth ride. Touchwood there have been no major turmoils in the marriage so far. We both have been friends like always and not like a cliched married couple."

As we know, the couple were approached for Smart Jodi but things didn't work out at that time. Talking about offers and work in general ahead, Awasthy said, "Offers have come my way and one of them might materialize soon which I can talk about after that. We are relaxed in terms of taking up offers because we have savings in place. We have created that buffer for us. We are not in a position as of now wherein we take up whatever work that comes our way."

What we are certain about is that the fans would love to see Awasthy and Rode in a project together or otherwise soon. Awasthy was recently a part of shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Maddam Sir while Rode was a part of mutilple web series and music videos last year.
