'OMG 2' Trailer: Promises to deliver another powerful message while being epic

When OMG 2 teaser released last month, the netizens were in for a surprise to see Akshay Kumar in the avatar of Lord Shiva. And needless to say, the teaser did arouse the excitement instantly and one couldn't just wait for the trailer to be dropping soon.

Finally, just less than a week away from the release, the trailer of the film OMG 2 is out today and the first thoughts that come across is indeed how it looks epic and promising!

As the trailer suggests, the Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi sand Yami Gautam starrer 'OMG 2' is a satirical comedy drama that revolves around the life of a believer of Lord Shiva- Kanti Sharan Mudgal played by Pankaj Tripathi. How a mishap with his son forces him to take the entire education system of the country to the court to save his son's honour. During the court trial, Akshay Kumar as a messenger of Lord Shiva becomes the answer to his prayers.

The film will address some of the crucial social issues such as freedom of religion and will question the integrity of the education system of our country. Like its hugely successful prequel OMG, this film too promises to bring a change in the society and this time it strives to empower the education system of the country which affects thousands of lives of the children of the country. 

Akshay Kumar with dreadlocks, six pack abs and a smile on his face looks mesmerising as Lord Shiva. The trailer assures a visual storytelling with one liners giving a message to the society without being preachy at all. The trailer gives a gist of the some superlative performances by the actors. and we can certainly say that the audience is eagerly waiting to witness Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar together on the screen. All and all, the film promises to be a worthy watch!

As mentioned earlier how the characters will be fighting it out in courtroom drama, that is where actor Yami Gautam comes in as she plays the pivotal role of a lawyer. 

The film also stars Arun Govil, Pawan Malhotra, Govind  Namdev. It is directed by Amit Rai and produced by Cape of Good films, Ashwin Varde, Vipul D Shah and Rajesh Bahl. It is slated to release on 11th August, 2023.
