Mission Mangal Director Jagan Shakti is reportedly facing health issues as he was diagnosed with a blood clot in his brain and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai on Saturday. The report in KoiMoi suggested that he is in a critical condition and is currently undergoing a diagnosis.

According to the reports in the Republic, Jagan’s friends claimed that he was suffering for a few months. They also mentioned that while he was socializing with them he suddenly collapsed and fell unconscious. Later, he was immediately hospitalized and his family members rushed to the hospital. Currently, the filmmaker is still undergoing diagnosis and the reports of his health are yet to arrive.

Jagan had made his directorial debut with Mission Mangal which saw a massive success in 2019, which saw Akshay Kumar collaborating with some of the most talented female artists - Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha, and Kriti Kulhari. 

The film was a massive blockbuster that turned out which kept the box office registers ringing for quite some time. The multi-starrer film entered the Rs 200 crore club and went on to become the biggest Independence Day release so far. 

On the work front, Shakti had been working on the script for his next project, Ikka which is a remake of the 2014 Tamil movie, Kaththi. The filmmaker had also planned to bring Akshay Kumar on board, however, the developments of their next collaboration are yet to come.
