Sonu Sood shares latest health update after wife's car accident: "Dua mein badi taakat hoti hai"

Actor Sonu Sood recently shared an update about his wife Sonali’s health after she was involved in a road accident. She was traveling with her sister and nephew when their car collided with a truck on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway. The incident took place on March 24, and pictures of the damaged vehicle quickly spread on social media.

Sonu took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the support and prayers they received. He wrote, "Dua mein badi takat hoti hai and we have felt it once again. Thank you so much for all the prayers and heartfelt messages. We truly appreciate your support. Sonali and the other two family members are recovering well. Forever grateful for your love and kindness."

Doctors treating Sonali and her family also provided a health update. A statement from Max Hospital in Nagpur confirmed that Sonali, her sister, and nephew were brought to the emergency department late on Monday night. The hospital reported that all three were conscious upon arrival, had stable vital signs, and suffered abrasions and bruises. A thorough examination ruled out any internal injuries. Sonali’s nephew was discharged after receiving first aid, while she and her sister remain under observation and are recovering.

The accident occurred around 10 PM on Monday as they were heading to Byramji Town from Nagpur airport. Their car was following another vehicle that overtook a slow-moving truck on Wardha Road Viaduct bridge near Sonegaon. The driver, Siddharth, was unable to stop in time and crashed into the truck from behind. The car’s airbags deployed, helping prevent serious injuries.

Sonali had arrived in Nagpur from Kolkata and was picked up by her relatives, Sunita and Siddharth. Following the accident, they were immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention. The Sonegaon Police recorded a diary entry based on the Medico-Legal Case (MLC) information but did not register a formal case, as no complaint was filed. Sonu Sood has been by his wife’s side since the incident, ensuring she receives the best care.
