Actor Sid Makkar’s father Surinder Makkar passed away on Thursday morning. The actor shared the unfortunate news of his beloved father’s demise on social media.

Sharing his father’s pictures, the Lajwanti actor expressed his grief “The only man I’ve ever looked up to - My Father, Surinder Makkar passed away this morning. His cremation took place at 12 noon today. The 2 pictures are him - older & younger. I will miss him like crazy!” he wrote on Instagram.

Sid has worked in both Bollywood and Television, he also starred in international films and plays including The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Save Your Legs and Offshore. He was part of Farhan Akhtar starrer Luck By Chance and played important roles in Turning 30 and Manoj Bajpayee’s Dus Tola.
