Salman Khan Defends 31-Year Age Gap With Rashmika Mandanna in Sikandar: "Heroine Ke Father ko Problem Nahi Hai

The buzz around Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, is reaching new heights. After the action-packed trailer launch, fans are excited to see Salman back in full form. On Sunday, March 23, Salman, along with the film’s cast and makers, attended the trailer launch event in Mumbai. While talking about the film, dialogues, and action sequences, Salman also addressed the 31-year age gap between him and Rashmika.

At the event, a journalist asked Salman about playing the love interest of a 28-year-old actress at the age of 59. In his signature witty style, Salman responded, "Heroine ke father ko problem nahi hai. Kal jab inki shaadi ho jayegi, bacche ho jaenge, aur tab bhi kaam karenge. Pati ka permission toh mil hi jayega na?" (The heroine’s father has no problem. Tomorrow, when she gets married and has children, she will still continue working. She will get her husband’s permission, right?)

Praising Rashmika’s dedication, Salman further added, "She has given her best. She was shooting for Pushpa 2. She would finish shooting by 7 pm and join us for our shoot from 9 pm. She worked with us till 6:30 in the morning and then went back to Pushpa 2 shoots. She was not well too."

Talking about her commitment despite facing injuries, Salman shared, "After breaking her leg, she still shot with us and didn’t cancel a single day. She reminds me a lot of me, the younger me."

With every new update, Sikandar is creating more excitement among fans. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is set for an Eid 2025 release.

Apart from Salman and Rashmika, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar. Sikandar is all set to release in theatres on March 28, promising an action-packed cinematic experience!
