Koffee With Karan new season to begin rolling from May; pre-production commences

Koffee with Karan is one of India's most popular chat show properties, with movie stars competing to be a part of the coffee table discussion with Karan Johar. There was speculation that the show would be canceled permanently in 2020, but now, the latest reports state that Karan and his team is getting ready to begin filming for the new season of Koffee with Karan.

Karan is currently filming Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and he will complete a significant portion of the film in May. Karan will begin work on his talk show, Koffee with Karan, after calling it a schedule wrap for the film. 

The planning and pre-production for the new season have already commenced, and the squad is now ready to begin shooting in mid-May, the report further revealed. The show is set to premiere on Star Network in the month of June.

It's going to be a star-studded season, with poular faces of the industry expected to join KjO at the coffee table. This season is expected to feature Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

As per reports the newlweds Ranbir and Alia would also grace Karan's new season wih their presence. 

Talking about his filmmaking arena, Karan's next film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi,  is set to be released during the Valentine's Day weekend in 2023. Among his production ventures are Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Liger, Brahmastra, Mr and Mrs Mahi, Govinda Naam Mera, and Selfie.
