Kareena Kapoor Khan and her new co-star Jaideep Ahlawat kicked off their new project with a 'pout-perfect' selfie. After a day of shooting together, Ahlawat took to social media to share a photo with the beauty and write about his day on the sets of 'The Devotion of Suspect X.'
"So much "Devotion" went into learning from "The Best" and I failed miserably... Day 1 is complete, and we have a long journey ahead of us with The one and only "The Bebo”, he wrote.
The actress, on the other hand, showed her co-star some love and shared the photo on her Instagram account with the caption, "Getting one of the best performers to do his most difficult performance...the pout! So much to learn from one another..."
Kareena began filming for the upcoming film with director Sujoy Ghosh on Wednesday. The untitled murder mystery is based on acclaimed author Keigo Higashino's 2005 best-selling Japanese novel 'The Devotion of Suspect X.' The film, which also stars Vijay Varma, is Kareena's first collaboration with a streaming platform.
The actress expressed her joy to fans by posting a photo from the film's set in West Bengal's Kalimpong district. "Day 1 Kalimpong... Suspect X Devotion," she captioned the photo.
'The Devotion of Suspect X' follows a single mother and her daughter who commit a crime, as well as a neighbour who assists them in covering it up while a police investigation is underway.
The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh, known for thrillers such as 'Kahaani,' and 'Badla’.
