The actress, known for her outspoken nature, drew a parallel between herself and the legendary Lata Mangeshkar, highlighting their shared commitment to dignity and artistic integrity.

Kangana shared a screenshot of an article commemorating Lata Mangeshkar's refusal to sing at a wedding, even when offered five million dollars. The headline served as a backdrop to Kangana's commentary on her own career choices. She asserted, "I have been through worse financial setbacks, but Lata ji and I are the only two people who have massive hit songs to our credit. Kangana stated, "But no matter how many temptations I got I never danced in the weddings, many super hit item songs were also offered to me, soon I avoided award shows also.
