The corset is from Vivienne Westwood’s 1990-91 Portrait collection. We can see a painting on the corset of Radhika Merchant. It is made by French artist Francois Boucher. One of the most decorated painters of the 18th century, Boucher was known for his Rococo style. He painted a lot of women in pastoral settings. Vivienne Westwood’s Portrait collection of 1990/91 was dedicated to the world of oil paintings from Wallace Collection. On the corset, we can a reproduction of a painting ‘Daphnis and Chloe’ made by Francois Boucher in 1743-45. She has been styled by Rhea Kapoor who also curated her looks for her wedding.
