The cast and crew of 'RRR' are currently in the city for the success party of the Hindi version of the film. Jr NTR voiced his desire for a sequel to the magnum opus during the media interaction. He stated,

"Rajamouli sir needs to make RRR 2, this story needs to come to a conclusion. I was just chatting to someone earlier today, and I don't remember why I mentioned RRR is a franchise, but I did. Hopefully, those words become a reality."

Ram Charan quickly added,

"NTR should wait until the release of RRR is complete before thinking about the sequel. Of course, if Rajamouli sir decides to make RRR 2, we'd all be glad to collaborate again. Brother, I pray your desire comes true."

S S Rajamouli, when asked about the sequel, remarked,

"We finished RRR in 2020, and now it's 2022, and I'm still trying to calm down from the heat that RRR has caused. Allow time for everything to settle down. Making a sequel will be a huge pleasure for me, not only because of the box office success of RRR, but also because I will have more time to spend with my two brothers. For me, that will be more exciting. But wait and see what happens as time passes."

'RRR,' a fictional take on the younger days of legendary freedom warriors Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju, played by Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, is set in pre-independence India. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson also star in the film.
