It was difficult to shoot the bikini scene : Alia Bhatt

Check out the sizzling bikini avatar of actress Alia Bhatt in her upcoming movie Shaandaar.

Actors have to get out of their comfort zone to meet the needs of their characters. At times it as well requires them to bear the brunt of Mother Nature. One among them is our pretty lady Alia Bhatt who faced extreme weather conditions while shooting for her upcoming movie.

During the trailer launch of Shaandaar, leading actress Alia Bhatt shared her sweet sour experiences of donning a bikini in extreme cold climate.

She was quoted saying, "I and Shahid used to hit the gym together. Though he was training as per his daily routine because he likes to stay fit but I was training hard for my bikini shot. I was on diet and was following it very religiously as I wanted to get it right. However, it was not a lengthy shot, but I still worked too hard for it."

Adding to it, director Vikas Bahl said, the bikini scene was shot on the "coldest day" and Alia was ready with a pair of pants to slip into soon after the shot. As we rolled the camera they used to remove their clothes for precisely 10 seconds and wear their clothes up soon after. It was just in one take we had tracked that scene.

'Shaandaar' directed by Vikas Bahl is a joint production by Dharma Productions and Phantom Films. Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen in the lead roles followed by Pankaj Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor in pivotal roles.

Gear up to witness this beautiful romantic tale with a pinch of comedy on the big screens on 22nd October, 2015.
