Is Salim Khan REGRETTING for apologising on Salman's behalf?

Salman Khan and controversy walk hand-in-hand. While his other issues have dissolved long back, it seems his recent altercation is not going to end anytime soon.

Salman Khan made a frivolous statement during his 'Sultan' interviews and it landed him in a big mess.

Looking at the sensitivity of the issues, his father Salim Khan came forward and apologized on his behalf. But, Salman instead of clearing the air, kept mum and also started ignoring the media. Following which the matter went out of proportion.

Now, Salim Khan has released few more statements regretting his previous apology because he is upset with how the media has taken the issue to the "saturation point". He feels that he had apologized with a hope that it would put an end to the problems that surfaced. But, instead of vanishing it got more worse.

"Normally people apologise to get rid of the problem but I meant it hoping that the problem would be over. What is the meaning of getting an apology from a person under the guillotine, who knows rightly or wrongly that he has not committed a crime."

"But the commercial compulsion of the media wanted to carry it to the saturation point. I regret not knowing this." he tweeted.
