'Bigg Boss 9' surely got the much needed boost with hot bombshells Nora Fatehi and Gizele Thakral entering the house as wild card entries. While Nora got linked to Prince and became a part of the 'cool group' of the house, Gizele chose to play her game as an individual, as the actress claims.
However, her game plan didn't really seem to work very well for her leading to her elimination from the show. The sassy actress shares her moments from the show, her journey, rapport with other house-mates and future plans. Take a look.
So Gizele, How was your journey on the show?
The journey was amazing. I had a lot of fun moments to cherish. However, I am feeling extremely sad with my elimination, as I feel I was providing the content and entertainment which is pivotal for show.
Absolutely, so what do you think did not work in your favour and resulted in your elimination despite providing entertainment?
I guess because people don't know me much as of yet, as I haven't done a lot of TV shows and films in the past. I am still growing in the industry, so fans would take time to develop a liking towards me. Besides, if I wished, I could have gone Nora's way by getting myself linked to any existing popular male contestant on the show to survive, but that's not me.
Who do you think is the strongest and the weakest contestant of the show?
I think Prince, Mandana and Kishwer are the strongest contestants, as they have remained themselves throughout the show, be it their aggressive and negative image or their stubborn attitude. However, I want Rishabh to win. He really deserves it as he has been an individual player, irrespective of what people think. And for me, Nora is the weakest one, as she has barely done anything apart from getting linked with Prince. She doesn't have a stand of her own and is just surviving with the flock of strong contestants.
Many people think this season of Bigg Boss is not as exciting as the others, what do you think is the reason of it receiving so much flak?
I think the contestants on the show are extremely conscious of their image in the outer world. I mean, because of that thought, they are barely able to provide any interesting content. There were instances when one must have seen flashes of interesting content, like when they had fights amongst themselves and other arguments over some matters, but even while doing so, they would suddenly become conscious of the cameras watching them and take a step back. Its a reality show and if you fail to be real, automatically the entertainment quotient becomes zero.
Whom did you share a good rapport with and developed a good friendship on the show?
I liked Prince, Suyyash and Mandana and had a pretty good connection with them. However, I don't know if they feel the same about me. I feel Mandana is the only one staying true to the way this show works. She doesn't care much about her image and has no intentions of portraying the good girl image, which would result in being boring. She has definitely changed the way one looks at the non-hindi speaking contestants in the house.
Now that you are out of the show, what are your future plans? And are you looking forward to working in more TV shows?
I have two films, 'Kya Kool Hain Hum 3' and 'Mastizaade' lined up for release, for which I am extremely excited and nervous and hope they get a good response. I am open to doing all kinds of work, whether its television or films. If I get any offers for a good show in the future, I will not think twice before taking it up.
We wish the beautiful actress all the best for all her future endeavours!
