"I am going through the worst phase of my life." - Amit Varma

Last seen doing a cameo role on SAB TV's 'Badi Door Se Aaye Hain', Amit Varma has come a long way from doing shows like 'Baa Bahu Aur Baby' on Star Plus, 'Saas Bina Sasural' on Sony TV and Bollywood movies like 'Kismat Konnection' and 'Detective Naani'.

But the actor has disappeared from the industry off late. Wonder why?

Inquisitive about the same, we buzzed the fine-looking actor and his reason dazed us!

Amit averred, "I have been getting offers from a long time now. Post my stint in 'Badi Door Se Aaye Hai', I was offered a show on Star Plus but I had to reject it because my brother, Adhir suffered a heart stroke two months ago and this has led to a brain hemorrhage. His left body is dysfunctional and might take 6 months to recover. I have been taking care of him all this while. This is the worst phase of my life."

Ohh...

Now that Adhir has been brought home, we asked Amit if he plans to make a comeback on television. 

He stated, "I have resumed work recently and I am doing theater as of now. I am keen on taking up television too. I have essayed romantic chocolate boy roles for a long time now and I now wish to do more intense serious roles if given an opportunity."
