Housefull 4: Akshay Kumar Vs Rana Daggubati! Details Inside

Housefull 4 is foreseen to be an unconventional action-comedy, which revolves around the theme of reincarnation. The film features a wide assortment of actors like Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol,  Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Johnny and Jamie Lever, Ranjeet and Chunkey Pandey. The Farhad Samji directorial is touted to be one of the costliest projects of the year. The latest buzz from the film states that Akshay Kumar and  Rana Daggubati are going to battle it out in this upcoming flick. 

The two superstars will be seen not in an action clash but a Qawalli faceoff! The song sequence will feature Akshay and Rana in the musical faceoff which will be a crucial part of the plot, taking the story forward.

“It appears at a crucial juncture and is on the lines of a fun conversation between the protagonist and the antagonist,” quoted Mumbai Mirror. Farhad Samji, the director of the film, has also penned the lyrics of the qawwali and composed the basic tune. The source further adds, “The song is set in the present era and was shot at a studio in Mumbai.”

Housefull 4 is the fourth installment of the Housefull franchise and is expected to be better and bigger than the past 3 series, which were a hit at the box office. 

Sajid Khan directed the earlier three films and was also helming the fourth part but was replaced by Farhad Samji due to sexual assault charges leveled against him last year owing to the MeToo movement. Nana Patekar too was replaced for a similar reason and Rana Daggubati was brought onboard at his place. The film is slated for a Diwali 2019 release.
