Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who made her comeback in films with Veere Di Wedding alongside Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, is on a roll. While she has begun shooting for Good News co-starring Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh, she has also signed Karan Johar's period drama Takht, which features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar.
Interestingly, we now hear that Bebo has also been approached for the sequel of Hindi Medium, co-starring Irrfan Khan. As per a report in PinkVilla, the makers are keen to rope in Kareena but she is yet to give her nod. Well, if Kareena agrees, the film will mark her first ever collaboration with Irrfan and it would certainly be a delight to see them both share the silver screen.
For the unversed, producer Dinesh Vijan had confirmed earlier that Irrfan is all set to be back with the sequel, which will be helmed by Homi Adajania. The 2017 comedy-drama starred Irrfan alongside Saba Qamar, Deepak Dobriyal and Dishita Sehgal. It not only earned praise from the audience and the critics but managed to rake in moolah at the box-office as well. The storyline revolved around a couple, who wished to give their daughter the best of education.
Meanwhile, Irrfan has been battling against high-grade Neuroendocrine cancer since last year and as we wish him a speedy recovery, we cannot wait to see him in Hindi Medium 2.
