Happy Birthday Rajeev Khandelwal!

Khandelwal, now 39, was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan into an army family. He is currently married to Manjiri Kamtikar, who he dated for over a year before tying the knot in Jodhpur in 2011.

Khandelwal began his career by writing, directing documentaries and modeling for various brands. He shot to fame when he was approached by Ekta Kapoor to play the role of Sujal Grewal, the handsome lover in Kahin Toh Hoga. He is still fondly remembered for his highly acclaimed portrayal of the character. However, Khandelwal took a complete turn for his next set of roles by picking action packed shows and playing characters like Varun Awasthi in Time Bomb 9/11 and ACP Prithviraj in CID. He also hosted the reality show Sachh Ka Saamna (2009). His Bollywood debut came with Aamir (2008), in which he played the role of a young Muslim man, Dr. Aamir Ali. The movie, as well as his performance, got rave reviews from both critics and the audience. This multi-talented man went on to do numerous other varied roles including Shaitan (2011) and Soundtrack (2011), before tasting success again with Table No. 21 (2013). His performance was appreciated and he continued to prove his versatility as an actor. His upcoming projects include DOA: Death of Amar, slated to release later this year.
