Mir Ranjan Negi watches Shahrukh Khan's film PAHELI for the puppet dance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa!
Mir Ranjan Negi, the hockey
coach with two left feet, when it comes to dancing, will have people's
jaws drop when they watch his performance this week. He and his young
partner Marischa come up with
a performance that should win them the perfect ten from all three
judges! It will be a first on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa… that too from Negi!
The other dancers who pride themselves on their moves will surely have
sleepless nights wondering if a certain Mr. Negi is going to walk away
with the show this season. Mr. Negi is probably living the best time of
his life after years of pain and despair. He sure is dancing away his
Negi and Marischa did a judgalbandi on the song "Khaike paan banaras wala", where the coach turned into a Rajasthani - Marwar puppet and Marischa a punk girl...says Mr. Negi, "At
first, I was apprehensive to do this act, but Marischa insisted that we
do something different and surprising, I have watched Shahrukh Khan's
film - Paheli 3 -4 times to get the puppet act right (Shahrukh does a
puppet dance in the film) to give this performance."
The 3 judges are all praises for Mr Negi's new energy and zing,
immediately after the performance, Shiamak Davar joins the couple on
stage and hugs Mr. Negi in appreciation. Urmila gives a standing
ovation and Jeetendra is all claps for the hockey star.
A source also tells us 'The song was
given to the couple 2 days later than everyone else, yet Negi &
Marischa have outdown other couples on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'.
Watch out for his performance this Friday, November 1 at 9.00 p.m. only on Sony Entertainment Television.
It's been weeks since Mika
has smiled all through his performance. This week with his performance,
Mika has made the judges proud and also his loyal fans. He got really
serious with his dancing, and to the delight of all on the sets danced
beautifully, with the kind of energy expected of Mika. The jugalbandi
was in sync, he was immaculately dressed and the song he danced to
simply went well with Mika: "You and I let's go balle balle…"
Studio audience also saw Mika rehearse with his partner way before the
shoot started. Everything to prove that Mika is a changed man on Jhalak
Dikhhla Jaa…What had the judges and the audience in splits was when
judge Urmila Matondkar was trying to tell something to Mika, the
never-say-die Mika chirpily told the diva: "Whatever you say to me sounds like 'I love you' to me." Well, a shocked Urmilla was speechless but for Mika he always wants to have the last word!
Watch Mika do the balle balle, this Friday, November 2 at 9.00 p.m. only on Sony Entertainment Television.
