First look of 'Singam 2' on Republic Day?

The first look of Tamil actor Suriya's cop-thriller "Singam 2" is likely to revealed on the occasion of Republic Day, Jan 26.

"The makers of the film are planning to release the first look of the film on Jan 26," said a source from the film's unit.

Directed by Hari, the new film is a sequel to the 2010 superhit movie "Singham", which was later remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgn as "Singham". The sequel is due to release in the summer of this year.

In "Singam 2", Suriya returns as an angry, righteous cop. It also features Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Vivek, Santhanam in prominent roles.

Southern actress Anjali has been roped in to do an item number.
