Excel Entertainment celebrates 4 years of Fukrey!

In 2013, Excel Entertainment led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar presented to the audience 'Fukrey' a tale of four slackers coming together to make easy money.

The film went on to become a huge success with its unusual story and perfect comic timing of the actors. The characters resonated with the audiences and gave a relatable touch, etching them in our hearts.

The Comedy flick not only won accolades from the audiences and critics, but also raked at the box office. 

Fukrey took us on a roller coaster ride with the adventures Hunny, Choocha, Zafar and Lali take in their life. Richa Chadha with her portrayal of Bholi Punjaban gained huge appreciation.

The film which released on 13th June 2013 completes 4 years of its release. Excel Entertainment gave a shout-out to the film on Twitter and wrote:

The year marks to be a special one for team Fukrey as the characters will be brought to life of celluloid with a sequel to the film titled 'Fukrey Returns'.

With Fukrey Returns, the viewers will get a chance to further their connect with Hunny, Choocha, Zafar and Lali in addition to reliving the lives of fukreys.

Fukrey Returns piques the interest of the audiences to know what it would unfold for its viewers as the movie ended on a happy note. 

Excel Entertainment's Fukrey Returns featuring Richa Chadha, Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh is scheduled to release on December 8th 2017.
