Whenever a celebrity takes up any product to endorse it, it becomes their responsibility to be accountable of anything related to it.
In the past, many actors and actresses have given up or rejected various products because of the ill-effects attached to it. And even if they promoted anything that turned out to be defaming or harmful to people, they made sure to rectify the error and apologize.
However, Ranveer Singh has refrained from doing so!
Recently, RS was slammed badly on social media for promoting a "sexist" advertisement of Danish fashion brand 'Jack & Jones'; where he is seen carrying a woman on his shoulder and the tag line that was written besides it read: "Don't hold back. Take your work home."
Here's the banner of the ad that was put up on the billboards across the country.

Soon after facing brickbats from the Netizens, the brand apologized and even took down all the 12 billboards that were put up.
While the brand apologized instantly, Ranveer had no regrets for promoting it!
When he appeared on a talk show to promote his upcoming film 'Befikre', he was asked about the ad. He didn't apologize and instead said: "'Jack & Jones' ad wasn't malicious, but wasn't going down well, so got it taken down."
