Ekta Kaul: Sumeet Had Always Been a Workaholic But Now He Has Started Prioritising Things Around Us

Popular Television actress Ekta Kaul who is best known as Riya in Star Plus family drama, Mere Angne Mein is all set to embrace motherhood. The actress is due for her delivery in June this year. Ekta Kaul is married to, Sumeet Vyas who was recently seen in REJCTX 2 and Official Bhootiyagiri.

Ekta got into a candid conversation with a leading entertainment portal where she spoke at length about her pregnancy, her husband Sumeet at home, how she is co-oping up with the issues and a lot more. 

Speaking about how she is feeling as mother-to-be, Ekta said, “ I don’t know how to describe my feelings right now because it’s very different and very new. But I just feel pleasant all the time. And I am extremely excited about this new phase.”. She further spoke about how her husband Sumeet is being her support system at this time. Ekta said, “Sumeet has been a pillar. He’s taking care of everything that’s related to me and my health. From food to massages to walks to medicines and doctor’s appointment, he’s with me.” She also said, “Sumeet has always been a workaholic and a little detached. But after this phase, he’s become more sensitive and caring and has started prioritising things around us.”

Ekta also shared how she misses being on shoots. She said, “Yes, I do miss working but it was a conscious decision. I wanted to take a break after getting married and do other things that I missed doing while I was working. So ya, once I feel the time is right, I will bounce back.”
