Bollywood actress Esha Deol recently addressed past link-up rumors with Ajay Devgn and clarified her stance on their equation. The actress, who is gearing up for her big-screen comeback, shared her thoughts about how such speculations made her feel back in the day.

Esha Deol is making headlines as she promotes her upcoming film Tumko Meri Kasam, directed by Vikram Bhatt. During an interview with The Quint, she was asked about the weirdest rumor she had heard about herself. Without hesitation, she admitted that being linked with her co-stars was quite common in her career. "I was linked to a lot of my co-stars back then. Some may have been true, but many were not," she shared.

She specifically mentioned the rumors about her and Ajay Devgn, saying, "They even tried to link me with Ajay Devgn. I share a very beautiful and unique bond with Ajay, filled with respect, love, and admiration for each other. That was so weird."

Esha believes that the rumors might have started because she and Ajay Devgn worked together in multiple films. The duo has been co-stars in several Bollywood projects, including Yuva, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, Kaal, Insan, and Cash. In 2022, they reunited for the web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, a psychological crime thriller starring Rashii Khanna as well.

The actress was last seen in Tell Me O Kkhuda (2011). Now, after a long hiatus, she is returning to the silver screen with Tumko Meri Kasam. The film, inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, features Adah Sharma, Anupam Kher, and Ishwak Singh in pivotal roles. It is set for release on March 21, 2025.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is busy with several projects. He will next be seen in Raid 2 alongside Vaani Kapoor, scheduled to release on May 1, 2025. He also has De De Pyaar De 2 and Son of Sardaar 2 in his lineup. Esha’s response makes it clear that while rumors may come and go, her bond with Ajay Devgn has always remained one of respect and friendship.
