#Confirmed: Akshay Kumar to be the PADMAN in Twinkle's next film!

Popularly known as Mrs. Funny Bones, actress Twinkle Khanna has rolled her sleeves up for her maiden venture 'Padman'. The film is based on the life struggle of 'Arunachalam Muruganantham' who brought a revolution by creating cheap and affordable sanitary pads for women with low affording ability. Since the time, Twinkle announced the film- speculations have been rife whether Akshay will be a part of it or not.

Putting to rest to all the rumors around the film, ace director R. Balki confirmed to a leading daily that its Akshay's film and he will be starring in it. The actor will be seen essaying the lead character and the film will go on floors by March this year.

R. Balki also informs that 'Padman' will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule.

Akshay is also prepping for his upcoming film 'Jolly LLB 2' that will release in February. The actor will also be seen in a special appearance in director Shivam Nair's 'Naam Shabana' that stars Taapse Pannu.
