Akshay Kumar's son avoids bollywood fame despite Rajesh Khanna’s prediction of him becoming the next superstar

The late Rajesh Khanna, often remembered as the first superstar of Indian cinema, once made a heartfelt prediction about his grandson Aarav kumar. He said, “He will carry the talent, hard work, and sacrifices of our family.” Many thought Aarav would eventually step into Bollywood. However, life took a different turn.

Aarav, son of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, has chosen to stay away from the limelight. He is currently studying in London and living an independent life. Akshay recently shared on Shikhar Dhawan’s show Dhawan Karenge that Aarav left home at 15. The proud father revealed, “He does his own laundry, cooking, and even shops from second-hand stores.” Akshay supports his son’s decision not to join the film industry, saying he wants Aarav to follow his own dreams.

Though Aarav prefers a private life, he made a rare appearance at Huma Qureshi’s Eid bash on April 4. Dressed in a classy black kurta-pyjama, he smiled warmly for the cameras. The stylish look reminded many that fashion clearly runs in the family.

Akshay also praised Twinkle for raising Aarav to be simple and grounded. He added that their daughter Nitara, in contrast, enjoys dressing up and has a keen interest in clothes. Twinkle Khanna, who shares her birthday with her late father, left acting after her marriage in 2001. She successfully turned to writing and has published multiple books, the latest being Welcome to Paradise in 2023.

On the work front, Akshay has a busy slate with films like Welcome to the Jungle, Sky Force, Bhooth Bangla, Jolly LLB 3, and Housefull 5. He is also stepping into Telugu cinema with Kannappa, directed by Vishnu Manchu. While Aarav may not follow his grandfather’s prediction, his individuality and values have already won many hearts.
