Cirkus: Makers drop the cast introduction video starring Ranveer Singh and others prior the trailer release

While we have been seeing the posters and BTS pictures from the sets of Cirkus, now the makers have finally dropped the cast reveal video and announced that the trailer of the film would be out by the next week.

As the video begins, we can see a text which reads, "We are back to entertain your family this Chrsitmas". And then slowly the looks of all the cast members of the film starts coming in one after the other. Ranver Singh looks dapper in his crisp moustache look. Pooja Hegde looks beautiful with a shocked expression. Then appears, Johnny Lever, Varun Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and others.

Sharing the video on his social media handle, Ranveer wrote, "Before the trailer drops next week, meet our CIRKUS family!!! #CirkusThisChristmas @rohitshettyproductionz @tseriesfilms @tseries.official".

Cirkus is touted to be a period comedy film helmed by Rohit Shetty and produced jointly by Rohit Shetty, Reliance Entertainment and T Series. Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a dual role in the film which also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Singh, Johnny Lever, and others. The film is based on the 1982 Hindi movie Angoor, which was a remake of the 1968 Hindi movie Do Dooni Chaar, which was a film adaptation of the 1963 Bengali movie Bhranti Bilas, which was also based on the 1869 play with the same name by Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, which was adapted from William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors.   

The movie's principal photography began in November 2020 in Mumbai and also proceeded in Ooty. Cirkus will have a global theatrical debut on December 23, 2022, making it a holiday release. As per reports, 

the film will also have special appearances from Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn.
