Ram Charan has been engaged in attending interviews in the US in advance for the 2023 Oscars. The actor, who is supporting his Telugu movie RRR, shared excerpts from an interview on Instagram on Friday. In the interview, he discussed appearing in "every franchise that people are watching," including Marvel and Star Wars. He also claimed he had his 'fingers crossed' when questioned about filmmaker SS Rajamouli directing a Marvel movie.

He also discussed working on RRR, Naatu Naatu's Oscar nominations, how cinema is getting more international, and much more. 

Ram Charan responded in an interview with Entertainment Tonight's Ash Crossan when asked whether there was a franchise he was "really interested" in being a part of, such as Marvel or Star Wars. He said,

 "I want to be in every franchise that people are watching and buying the tickets. I want to be in every film, in every country where people appreciate art in films and cinema basically. Cinema is becoming global cinema. It's no more Hollywood or Bollywood. It's burning all the wood and becoming global cinema. And I am so fortunate to be a part of that."

Ram Charan responded to the interviewer's comment that "so much" could be 'brought together' if SS Rajamouli were to direct a Marvel movie. He expressed, 

"Wow. We are going to host you a big party if that happens. She is one of the first people to say this, and fingers crossed, I really hope that happens. It is for my director."

The film 'RRR' has already received numerous national and international accolades, including this year's Critics' Choice and Golden Globe Awards. The Telugu movie's song Naatu Naatu received an Oscar nomination for best original song.
