Battle of Galwan is Salman Khan’s next project. The superstar has been preparing for the role since two months now. Today, the announcement video was dropped and fans are stunned. It is evident that he has been prepping hard. We can see Salman Khan looking all bloodied in the video. He is playing the role of B Santosh Babu who was the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment. The movie is about the cross border tension between India and China in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley. The battle happened in 2020. This is a special movie for Salman Khan as he is playing a real-life army man for the first time.

Apoorva Lakhia has plans to shoot the film in a straight 70 to 80 days’ schedule. As we know, Ladakh is easily accessible only till the end of September. Salman Khan will be filming action sequences in the low oxygen areas of Ladakh. He was undergoing fitness training in such simulated atmosphere to meet the demands of the grueling shoot. Fans of the actor did not like the fact that he had seemingly gained some weight in Sikandar.
